Best sandwiches in Huntington Beach!
Great customer service at amazing prices! We cater lunch from time to time and you can't beat the prices nor the friendly services. Every sandwich is amazing. Can't say enough good things about this place.
Also, best macaroni salad ever. -

I have ordered sandwiches the past (2) Saturday's from this place and delivered them to my friend Summer. She is also a food connoisseur and she had a bad sandwich experience.
So I looked up the best sandwich places in Huntington Beach and found De Simone Bakery. It has the vibe and feel of an old-school deli. I ordered the Cuban sandwich one weekend and Chef Special (Pastrami and Turkey) the next weekend.
Summer told me she ate almost the whole 16" of both sandwiches because it was that good.
One of these days I will have to try it and if it blows my mind I will change my rating from 4 to 5 stars. -

Who does not enjoy a nice sandwich every now and then. De Simone is worth stopping by if you happen to be in the area.
Restaurant:
It is tiny inside, but it is a deli after all. It is clean and has about 9 tables to sit down. There is a salad bar as well that is for customers who eat at the restaurant (plenty of signs that say it is is not available for to go customers). I was greeted and my order was taken quickly. I ordered a hot sub which took a little while longer than cold subs, but they crank 'em out quickly.
Food:
I ordered the #16 Cuban Sandwich with no cheese. It hit the spot! Ham, Roasted Pork, Mustard and Pickles on a crunchy and soft bread. The bread was not the best quality, but it does its job and holds all the goodness together inside without getting soggy. All the flavors go well together and I am sure it tastes much better with cheese.
Notes:
My sub was an 8" and it cost me exactly $8.00. That is more expensive than say Subway, but here you would be supporting a small business, and be getting a much much better sub. -

Had the Cuban sandwich and did not regret ordering it. The only difference, is it isn't made on Cuban bread, it's made on French bread. Still, one of the better Cuban sandwiches I have had in So Cal.
Also had their guava bread pudding, and boy o boy it was so flippin' delicious. Drooling right now just thinking about it.
Next time I am back in that area, you can be sure I will be grubbing here. -

After reading all the reviews I was determine to find it! It is really just a hole on the wall and really relaxed, nothing fancy, atmosphere. I felt like I walked into a deli in NYC but nop it is in HB. Oh Yeah! If you are from back east or Chicago I double dare you. My dude and I were so impressed with how moist the bread was and the quality of our cold cuts just all came together.
Easy parking in fact it is next to smart and final shopping center
Customer service is STELLAR!
Great pickles! (I LOVE pickles)
I was in shocked to find my favorite soda-pop "Yerba Mate"
I no longer need to drive to LA to find my soda-pop!
